The evening party will be a celebration not only of our marriage, but also in honor of the 30th anniverary of Melissa and Mark Hobbs.

We are excited to extend an invitation to this event not only to our ceremony guests, but any friends or family that would like to share a cheers and dance the night away in celebration of any of the recent family events! ​
Please be aware the party is 21+. This is required by the venue.
Guests who are travelling with children will be contacted after RSVPs to discuss childcare options in Houston.

Everything you need to know:
1) Food and Drink
​
There will not be a full, sitdown style meal at the party. There will, however, be an open bar. Appetizers and snacks will be available, and there will be a traditional cake cutting for a sweet treat. Please plan accordingly to eat dinner before (or after) the event.

2) Transportation
​
There is limited parking available at the venue. It is not within reasonable walking distance of the Magnolia Hotel (although you are welcome to try, it's about three miles down the highway.) Between the small lot and the open bar, we highly encourage all guests to uber to the event. Arrival and departure time is incredibly flexible.

3) Dress Code
​
There is no set dresscode for this event. Cocktail attire is encouraged, but you are welcome to dress up and down to your leisure. Seating will be available, but consider the dance floor and limited seating when making your shoe selections.
4) Entertainment
​
The event will feature live band as the primary entertainment for the event. Expect an evening of drinking and dancing, with a few traditional wedding activities like toasts and first dances scattered throughout the night.
