Please note the following instructions from the Church:

1)  "All persons must dress in modest, reverent, and respectful attire at all times when in our Church."

As you join us in celebrating our Nuptial Mass, we kindly request that all of our relatives, friends, and guests dress in a manner befitting the House of God. Ladies, we kindly request that you refrain from wearing low cut necklines, short skirts, sleeveless items, and transparent fabric, as they do not meet the norm of Christian Modesty.  Gentlemen, please no shorts or casual wear.  Within the limitations of modesty and honor for the venue, please feel free to dress up or down to your comfort level.

2)  "Because Catholics believe that the celebration of the Eucharist is a sign of the reality of the oneness of faith, life, and worship, guests from other Christian denominations or religions are not admitted to Holy Communion."

If this is your first time participating in a Catholic mass, please be respectful of Catholic tradition regarding communion.  Because Catholics believe that the celebration of the Eucharist is a sign of the reality of the oneness of faith, life, and worship, guests from other Christian denominations or religions are not admitted to partake in Holy Communion.

Anyone who is unable to receive the Eucharist is still welcome to approach the altar to receive a blessing from the priest.  To communicate the request for blessing please approach with your arms crossed over your chest in an "X" shape, palms flat on the shoulders.

3)  "Cellphone usage for phone calls or photography is not permitted during the celebration of the mass."

While we encourage and appreciate photographs throughout other wedding events, the ceremony is the one exception.  Please plan to silence all phones put them away for the duration of the mass.

4)  "Children and young people are to be under constant supervision and are not allowed to run around and play in the church or on the grounds."

Annunciation has fairly high expectations of guests, even the young ones.  We welcome children to the ceremony, but please understand that church policy forbids the use of tablets or any sort of food or snack inside the building.  We know it can be difficult for young ones to be still and silent for an hour, so urge them to try their best knowing there won't be such strict expectations at any other wedding events.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to the bride or groom.

A few extra notes:

There will be a very narrow window for photographs for the bride and groom inside the church, so please be prepared for the photographer and church staff to request you step outside promptly following the ceremony.  You are welcome to congregate and take personal pictures in the courtyard outside the church.

There will be construction on the primary church parking lot.  If you are staying at the Magnolia Hotel, the church is within walking distance.  If you are staying elsewhere in town, we encourage you to uber.  If you choose to drive, please plan accordingly allow time for parking and a very brief walk to the Church.

For additional details on address and parking options, please see transportation.
